father’s day!

this picture has to be one of my favorite pictures of all time. it captures a beautiful moment…and really gives a glimpse into brad as a dad. i could write paragraphs and paragraphs about how he is teaching his boys to be respectful (yet also playas!!) and men of godly character. instead…i’ll make a list of things that make brad an excellent father.

…he prays with reece on a nightly basis.
…he encourages his boys to listen to kanye and other rap geniuses.
…he will stop whatever he is doing to throw mason around and pretend wrestle with him.
…he doesn’t have an area of his life that they are not a part of. to know brad is to know about his family. not 5 minutes goes by without him making mention of them.
…he teaches his boys that girls like flowers and going on dates.
…he gets more excited when he sees his boys that i do about justin timberlake.
…he lets reece watch american idol with me.
…he tells his boys all the time how much he loves them and is proud of them.
…he comes up with a new nickname every week for mason.
…he always makes his boys laugh.
…he loves reece and mason’s mom a whole lot.

brad, you are a wonderful father. so today, i salute you and your job well done.
