best 9 minutes of television in a long time. if you don’t feel a tug at your heart when david’s mom and brother come up on stage…you are probably dead. i am beyond happy. it was the best finale i’ve ever seen. the night was packed with very funny moments, great songs, amazing performances, and the right david winning. and how cool that simon apologized to him. wow wow wow.
