ok…i cannot take credit for that. as i was driving to work this morning, i heard a promo for tonight’s american idol finale…and the catch phrase they are going with is….IT’S DOUBLE D DAY! apparently….no one caught the awkwardness of that. or maybe they did and they are using it as a way for a different type of audience to jump on board for the finale. who knows! it is fox….
well, i’d like to take this opportunity to say that i have loved loved this season of american idol. i haven’t looked forward to tuesday nights this much since carrie underwood’s stint of american idol. truly an amazing season. and i’m excited for david cook to bring the heat tonight and destroy little david. please please please!
for those of you jumping on the american idol bandwagon for one night only (i won’t name names…you know who you are)….you should definitely take a few minutes today and check out each week’s performances from the two davids. it would be worth the time and energy. and if you are not going to be voting tonight, please drop off your cell phones for my use during the hours of 8-12 tonight so i can vote. a lot.

I’ve been saying since they got to Los Angeles that this was David Cook’s contest to lose. But I do wonder if Archuleta’s teen devotees cast enough votes for him to pull off the upset?
